Paddle Park

The Paddle Park is a great place for kayakers, canoeists, families and wildlife enthusiasts to spend the day. It is located at mile marker 10 on North Bay Road, adjacent to a 25-acre protected wetlands area on the Yaquina River, also owned by the Port of Toledo. This day-use park and launch area, funded by the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department, offers a park setting with a gazebo, picnic table, restrooms, wildlife viewing & interpretive signage, as well as a dock and pier for non-motorized boat launching and day use. Lumber milled from the nearly 100 year old piles pulled from Depot Slough is used in the pier, fencing, and the picnic gazebo. Local metal sculpture artist Sam Briseno created the heron-in-flight wind vane atop the gazebo.
